Highlights of a Winter Holiday in Ramsau am Dachstein
Cross-Country Skiing, Skating, Winter Hiking
Up to 220 km of cross-country ski trails start right at your doorstep, including about 70 km of skating trails. Winter hiking paths run mostly alongside them, with around 30 places to stop for refreshments.
Ski Touring, Snowshoeing
You can also go ski touring right from your doorstep, and of course snowshoeing too. Austria’s National Ski Tour No. 1 leads from the Dachstein to Obertraun, with return transfers available as well.
Skiing and Snowboarding
The ski bus stop is just 30 m away. The region’s buses take you to Rittisberg, Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Reiteralm, and the Dachstein.
Gentle Winter
As an alternative to après-ski, enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides to rustic mountain huts. Other options include: toboggan runs down into the valley, ice skating rinks, and fat biking on the hiking trails.
